Vergleichs-Assistent structures complex procurement and supplier decisions. Instead of yet another table-based comparison page with affiliate links, the assistant bundles the criteria that actually decide a project: technical requirements, total cost of ownership, contractual clauses, data residency. The output is a traceable decision basis that has to hold up in a board meeting or in front of a client.

Vergleichs-Assistent is the response to a recurring observation in the Mittelstand: complex decisions about software, suppliers or investments are often reduced to two vendor demos and an intuition. The assistant structures the process: identify the relevant criteria for the concrete project, weight them cleanly, and assess them against the options. What remains is a decision basis that holds up afterwards — not a PDF that no one opens again.
For whom
The assistant is aimed at managing directors, procurement leads and IT decision-makers in the Swiss and German Mittelstand — people who take decisions that have to last for years and who know that the vendor sales pitch is not the whole truth. Typical use: selection of new industry software, supplier consolidation, make-or-buy decision.
What it does
- Criteria library per procurement type (software, machine, service provider, cloud service)
- Total cost of ownership calculation with a sober treatment of hidden costs
- Contractual clause analysis for cloud contracts, SLAs, data processing agreements
- Swiss data protection assessment (nFADP) and EU AI Act classification where relevant
- Result documentation as a traceable decision basis
Why it came about
In the Mittelstand, procurement decisions are often taken under time pressure and in too narrow a circle. Vergleichs-Assistent is the tool we wanted ourselves when we faced a software decision with multi-year consequences — structured, without vendor bias, with clear data residency.
