Beherzig Group
A Swiss family business. Since 1996. Owner-led. Three decades of digital work under one roof.
Background
Beherzig Group has its roots in 1996, at the height of the first web wave. At the time, digital products were still a frontier; many competitors came and went. We stayed.
What began as individual web projects for Swiss and German companies has grown over three decades into a consolidated portfolio of twelve active SaaS products. Over fifty projects have been built in that time – each self-funded, each on its own infrastructure, each intended to last.
Beherzig Group is the organisational structure that holds this body of work together. It brings the products under one brand without changing the character of each individual product. We do not acquire other companies. We build, operate, and own what we start.
Structure
Beherzig Group is an owner-led Swiss family business headquartered in Oberwil near Zug. There are no holding structures, no intermediate layers, no external shareholders. Ownership is clear and undivided.
This structure is deliberately kept simple. Server infrastructure and data remain in Europe, under our own control.
Values
Three values shape every decision. They are not slogans for the wall but filters for day-to-day work.
Thinking in generations
We build products we intend to operate twenty years from now. That shapes our choice of technology, the form of our contracts, and the way we work with clients. Thinking in decades leads to different decisions than thinking in quarters.
Own infrastructure
Swiss data sovereignty is not a marketing statement for us – it is an architectural decision. Our servers are in Europe; the data remains under our control. We cannot be compelled to hand it over to third parties.
Open source as a foundation
We build on open systems – Gitea, n8n, Mautic, SuiteCRM, Nextcloud. No dependence on hyperscalers, no vendor lock-in. Our clients retain authority over their data, and we retain control over our tools.
What does not drive us
Equally important to what we do is what we do not do. We have no external investors at group level. We are not seeking an exit. We do not work with quarterly figures; we work with decade-long plans.
This does not mean we stand still. On the contrary – it means we can move forward without deferring to valuation logic or investor expectations. We say no to work that does not fit our values. We say no to acquisitions that would dismantle our products. And we say no to growth that would change the character of what we do.

Family and Ownership
Beherzig Group is one hundred per cent family-owned and will remain so. This is not a transitional arrangement until the next funding round; it is the deliberate strategic foundation of the entire model. Much of what competitors have done over the past three decades – taking venture capital, expanding rapidly, selling, starting again – André has consciously not done.
Those who think in generations have no need for external capital providers who think in quarters. Those who operate products over decades cannot afford investors who expect an exit within three to five years. Family ownership is the condition that allows us to do what we believe is right – even when it takes longer or is quieter than the market norm. Rather than growing as investors would demand, we have built what we believed in. Rather than selling, we have held on. Rather than expanding breadth, we have deepened quality.
Participation is possible exclusively at the level of individual products, not at group level. Family offices and strategic partners will find a clear ownership structure within each product, without the ownership of the group brand ever being open to negotiation. Those who share the same view of long-term commitment will find further details in the Investors section.
