It supports the entire process, from the first review of the building application through the reasoning of the objection to filing it on time with the responsible authority. Baueinsprachen guides private individuals and lawyers through the formal procedure of a construction objection under Swiss building law. The Swiss building permit process is regulated differently from canton to canton, but it is always bound by deadlines and always bound by form. Anyone who fails to file an objection within the published consultation period and with the correct formal elements forfeits their right to be heard, without any review on the merits.

The platform is aimed at neighbours and affected property owners who wish to draft an objection themselves, as well as at small construction-law firms managing several mandates in parallel. It is not a substitute for legal advice in complex cases, but it structures the recurring steps so that the lawyer can concentrate on the legally delicate points.

Why it exists
